Snowboards
It's another great year for riders as boards just continue to get better. Boards are lighter than ever and
feature some amazing graphics to boot. We've got the latest and best for your riding enjoyment. Depending
on how and where you want to ride, we can set you up with just the right board for your needs.
When choosing a board, we'll help you find a model that fits your foot size, height and weight. These factors
will help determine the board's waist width, length and flex. Your riding preferences also make a difference.
If you plan to spend a lot of time in a half-pipe, then a slightly shorter board should work better for you.
On the other hand, if you plan on carving through the steep and deep, a slightly longer board is your best bet.
The Freeride or All Mountain category remains the most popular. These boards are a great choice because of
their versatility. They may not carve as well as an alpine board or have the agility of a freestyle board,
but they deliver very respectable performance pretty much anywhere you want to go.
Freestyle boards are the big news this year as manufacturers have come out with some excellent new models.
Shorter, lighter and with softer flex than freeride or carving boards, these boards are built for the park
and half-pipe. Plus, since freestyle boards turn easily and are very forgiving, they make an excellent
choice for beginners. Their main drawback is that they don't carve as well and are not as stable at
high speeds.
